This is Europe's premier winter golfing destination.  Along the south coast of the Algarve there are 21 golf complexes and 31 golf courses.

Boa Vista Golf Course is 3 Km from Praia da Luz.  This relatively new course, designed by Howard Swan, sits well in its natural environment and has panoramic views.  Sociable, with excellent facilities, well-stocked shop, restaurant, and Essential Fitness & Spa.

Parque da Floresta Golf Resort is 9 Km from Praia da Luz, and a 15 minute drive from Lagos. Widely renowned and excellently laid out on the hills and valleys a little back from the coast, the most westerly 18 holes in the Algarve.

Also offers restaurants, golf shop, extensive health & beauty facilities in Spa Floresta, archery, bowls, horse riding, mountain biking, and tennis.

Palmares Links, 12 Km from Praia da Luz enjoys spectacular views over the Bay of Lagos, and combines links-style golf on the first 9 holes with a slightly more hilly second nine.  Panoramic sea views.

Penina Golf, 15 Km from Praia da Luz, was designed by Sir Henry Cotton, is set in rolling countryside with views of the sea.  The design features Europe's longest Par 5.  Penina's 5-Star hotel has all services including pro shop and equipment storage.
