NEW! Espiche Golf Lagos:  5 Km from Praia da Luz.

Opened early in 2012, this is a charming and challenging course on the doorstep of Lagos and Luz.  It has 18 holes, par 72.  With picturesque lakes and streams and views of the Monchique mountains this course makes a valuable addition to the many golfing choices available locally.

 

Boa Vista Golf Course:   3 Km from Praia da Luz      

Designed by Howard Swan, Boa Vista sits well in its natural environment and has panoramic views.  Sociable, with excellent facilities, well-stocked shop, restaurant, and Essential Fitness & Spa.

 

Parque da Floresta Golf Resort:   9 Km from Praia da Luz    

Widely renowned and excellently laid out on the hills and valleys a little back from the coast, the most westerly 18 holes in the Algarve.  Also on offer at Parque da Floresta are restaurants, golf shop, extensive health & beauty facilities in Spa Floresta, archery, bowls, horse riding, mountain biking, and tennis.

 

Palmares Golf Links:  12 Km from Praia da Luz     

The course enjoys spectacular views over the Bay of Lagos, and combines links-style golf on seaside dunes with beautiful parkland, lakes, hills and valleys. Upgraded in 2010, the new course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and comprises 3 returning 9-hole loops that can be played in any sequence, each section having a different ambience and set of challenges.

 

Penina Golf:   15 Km from Praia da Luz    

This special course, designed by Sir Henry Cotton, set in rolling countryside between Lagos and Portimao has views of the sea.  The design features Europe's longest Par 5.  The Penina 5-Star hotel has all services including pro shop and equipment storage.
