Lovely newly-renovated 3-bedroom villa with a private pool and sea view from the veranda located in a quiet residential area of Luz, 5 minutes' drive to the village restaurants, shops and the Blue Flag Beach!


This super detached private villa in upper Luz has a parking space with gates at the front of the house. 


As in many of the traditional style villas in Luz, the three bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area is on the upper floor to benefit from the sea view.


The circular stone staircase in the hall leads up to a spacious, bright open plan living room where the lounge area to the left has large glass doors which open onto the veranda overlooking the pool and which has a sea view. An exterior circular staircase from the veranda takes you down to the pool area below.


The lounge has a soft comfortable settee and two chairs, from where you can enjoy the view of two palm trees and the sea. A fireplace with semi-circular chimney breast provide a focal point in the room, and there is an extra large flat screen TV with many channels and a DVD player.

In the dining area there is a handsome glass dining table with 6 matching chairs.


To the right of the living room staircase is an impressive sleek new kitchen with shiny black units and stainless steel appliances, featuring a large fridge/freezer with icemaker, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, blender, dishwasher, washing machine and ample crockery, pots and pans.  A ceramic hob installed in island unit with an overhead extractor fan provides an attractive feature in the kitchen.  The cook can also enjoy the attractive countryside views from the big kitchen window.


The Master Bedroom has a large double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower enclosure hand basin, toilet, built-in wardrobe and a wall mounted TV, and it has doors to the pool area.

Bedroom 2 has a large double bed, a free standing wardrobe and is beside the main bathroom.  Bedroom 3 has a large double bed and built-in wardrobes.


The newly-upgraded monochrome family bathroom has a bath, shower, hand basin and toilet.


There are electric fans in all rooms.


 A grassy area at the side of the house leads to the private pool and paved leisure area. The L-shaped pool has steps at the shallow end, and there is a pool shower. Meanwhile at the other side of the house, in a very atmospheric setting, there is a built-in BBQ, with a smart patio table and comfortable seats nearby. The generously sized patio has 6 sun beds and plenty of space to spread out to find sun or shade, as you choose.


With such a comfortable living space, inviting pool, fragrant plants and a magnificent palm tree in the garden, it is likely that many guests will not want to leave the villa at all! 


Located in an elevated, quiet, residential area of Luz, overlooking the village and bay, we do recommend that guests staying in Casa 28 hire a car because it takes 25 or minutes to walk down to the shops and restaurants, and a little more down to the beach. 

Hiring a car also gives you the opportunity to visit so many other beautiful beaches and the stunning coastline to the west, and the picturesque Monchique mountain villages inland, and of course saves you the airport transfer costs.
